The Greenhouse Christmas Experience
The Greenhouse Christmas Experience
Last Spring my dad and I built a greenhouse in my backyard. This will be my first Christmas using it for Christmas Sessions and I am SO excited for all of the dreamy, magical memories to be made this holiday season! I have always liked to create my own personal, private spaces to use for my sessions without time constraints and worrying about it being too busy with people from the public in our backgrounds. It also just creates a much more personalized, special experience with your family. These will be going through November and December only with limited booking so if you see a spot you want to make sure to grab it before it's gone!
We will do a 30-minute shoot in our greenhouse which will be beautiful in the daylight with the natural light coming in, or you can choose afternoon/evening hours where the twinkling lights are twinkling. After that, in the studio there will be a hot cocoa and cookie bar (this really helps with smiles from the kiddos if you tell them there are cookies after!), and don't forget the bunnies! I have a crew of 8 fuzzy bunnies you are welcome to visit after your session. There are also chickens out back by the greenhouse, but kiddos are normally more interested in the bunnies. LoL
As of last year a new thing I do for my holiday experiences is to send everyone home with a printed 4 by 6 photo to take home with them that day. I just think it's fun to have an actual printed photo being that they are so rare today.
As of now, the photos seen here are Pinterest inspiration photos from a home decor company I found with a very similar greenhouse to mine.
I am currently working on putting in a wood floor in the greenhouse. Once that is done I will set up and shoot some images. If you want to see something similar of mine, head over to my Snow Globe Sessions from last year! Though these will be different, you will see the same effect of the twinkle lights and outdoor winter photos.......
