As I have been decorating for Christmas this year my son Jax makes me do everything the way we always do it. Traditional colors (no white tree like I want), all of our old ornaments, countdown calendar hanging in the same place. It's because it brings back all of the nostalgia. He even brings up all of the past pictures in his phone to show me what it looked like in past years. I love that about what he wants even though I would like to update decor sometimes. LoL
It got me really thinking about how I love every magical memory we have made throughout these years since 2013. I have taken the last couple of years really easy because I was feeling a bit lost in my photography journey. I have of course still been regularly doing sessions, but I was giving myself more time to step back and evaluate what I want. What do I truly love with photography. What am I best at.
It's been only the last couple of months that it's like all of my creativity and spirit with photography I feel like has come back alive.
I KNOW what I am best at. It's not the normal, it's not the plain, it's not what you see every day. I can easily do those things, but it's not really where I thrive.
Though I am 45 (at least for the next week ), I love to pretend, to create magic!
To watch kids eyes light up as they get all dolled up for their Experience and then get to just have fun and play pretend.....it's THE BEST!
Over the next week and a half (I think that's how much time we have) I will be making announcements about what we will have coming for Black Friday and I love that I will have memories to share with you all as well about our journey!

How does all of this work?
Prebooking Passes
First, visit the Black Friday page for alllllll information and details. Please make sure you read thoroughly as all Black Friday purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you see something that says "Prebooking Pass"......a Prebooking Pass means you're in! You have a guaranteed spot into our Experience. When you purchase a Prebooking Pass it also essentially works as your retainer for your session. Time slots will be booked when your event gets closer and we will contact you to book your time, so you don't have to worry about a thing! We do all of the work! At the time of booking your timeslot you will not owe a retainer. Your balance for your Experience will be due at the time that you come see us for your Experience.
Packages:
If you are purchasing a 2026 "Package" your package cost essentially works as the retainers for your sessions.
It is your guaranteed spot for everything included in your package. All timeslots will be booked once each event in your package gets closer, normally about 1 month prior to the event. There will be no retainer due at this time as your package cost covered that. We will contact you each time to book your timeslot, so you don't have to worry about a thing! At the time of your session, that is when the balance will be due.
If you have never purchased things for Black Friday with us before, just make sure you read all details. We have used this same system for many years now and the way we do it makes everything easy peasy!
Digital or printed Gift Certificates are always available upon request so you can have something to print out to give as a gift for Christmas! This year we will also be offering our "2026 Era's" t-shirt to gift as well! I think it will be adorable to have kids and parents wear them to their Experiences as we style kids for their Experiences so they don't need to some dressed......the t-shirt will be perfect!

2026 Unicorn Experiences
Ages 3 & up
Our Unicorn Experiences have been happening for I want to say about 10 years now! It's always one of our most magical weekends of the year, and it never gets old seeing kids' faces light up when they see REAL unicorns!
A digital gift certificate is available upon request after your purchase if you would like to give this as a Christmas present. Just leave a note when checking out, or text me at 419-205-0252.
Here are details for our 2026 Unicorn Experiences!
* We provide full wardrobe and accessories! Kids love to come and get dressed up to feel like a princess or prince! We don't provide shoes, and for Unicorn rides, really don't need them, but if your kiddo has a thing about shoes and would rather wear them and white dressy shoes will do.
* Each child will get their hair, child appropriate sparkly makeup, and nail polish done.....normally I would say for Experiences this is one of their favorite parts, but with Unicorn Experiences.....it's ALL their favorite part! (of course boys don't need all of this, but we can still style your little guy's hair of course!)
* Kiddos will get one on one time with the unicorns to ride them, cuddle them, walk alongside them,,,,,whatever they wish, all while we will be taking magical photos that bring out their personality because they are just having the time of their lives.
* Kids will receive a printed photo to take home that day with the unicorn so they can show all of their family and friends what they got to do! Proof that Unicorns ARE REAL! 🌈🦄
* This year I also purchased a white bunce house, and I am going to possibly have that for kiddos to play on before or after their sessions as well! I really like to make it a full "Experience" day for the kids.
* With your Experience you will receive at least 10 artistically edited images in an online gallery where you can order wall art, gifs, and prints, as well as FREE download for personal use!

2026 Circus Experiences

THE Circus is coming to town!!!!!! 🎪🎟️📸❤️
I haven't gotten to say that in a LONG time! It will be 6 years since our last Circus sessions, and we are due for the most amazing summer with these Experiences!
Somehow the Circus captured my heart early into my photography journey and it became one of my "Signature Experiences"
(my sister Alicia just called it that earlier and I liked that phrase!), but it did, there are really 3 artistic Experiences that I can call my "Signature Experiences". They are......
- Unicorn Experiences
- Circus
- Mad Hatter Tea Party
This summer, I am going to put my full focus and creativity into this Circus (and in the spring Unicorn). Possibly Mad Hatter can make a comeback in 2027......but these Experiences take A LOT of time, A LOT of creativity, A LOT of teamwork, and A LOT of financial resources to pull together, so one huge thing like this per year! LoL
We go all the way with these. The makeup, the hair, the sets. It is all handpicked from a million places and pulled together to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. This is going to really make me feel old, but the first time we did our Circus sessions, it wasn't just "order it on Amazon", it wasn't like that then. We had to create the things we needed or go out scouting for them. I loved those times so much more, and that is one of the things that made me want to go back and do my {Era's Black Friday}. I want to "create" again, instead of order and receive the next day.
These are images that you will look back on forever that are SO unique, and you literally won't find anywhere else, or anyone else doing.
All of that aside about where these came from......your kids/teens will LOVE this! It's SO much fun, and to see them get excited to get all done up as Circus Performers.....it's honestly the best. They get so into it! It makes your photos just be simply magic because it brings out their personality when they are actually having FUN!

*We will then do a FUN, artistic session in the Circus area ...... I'm thinking possible BIG Circus tent this year guys! 🎪
*I did also purchase a big white bounce house and this year for summer Experiences I am thinking about having it there so that kiddos can play on it before/after their Experience!
*With your Experience you will receive at least 10 artistically edited images in an online gallery where you can purchase prints, gifts, and wall art, as well as FREE download for personal use.
*Each child/teen will receive a printed photo to take home with them that day to show off their Experience to family and friends

2026 Family Mini Session Package
There are so many chapters that your family will go through while your kids are growing up, and it truly does go SO quick!
Capture those moments throughout 2026 with our Family Mini Session Package.
Our Family Mini Session package was created years ago to make things easy and affordable, to capture your moments throughout the year.
- Spring, Fall, & Christmas Minis are included in the package
- You don't have to worry about watching and waiting to book a mini session. Once you purchase your package you are all set! We will contact you about a month prior to each mini to schedule your timeslot.
- These sessions are discounted seriously! After the cost of your package, and your balance due at each session.....you are saving about $100 per session compared to the price of my Family Sessions this year!
- Each session comes with AT LEAST 10 images in an online gallery with FREE download. (it's never just 10 seriously) I also do a version of black and white for each image.
Some things to keep in mind prior to your purchase:
- There are only a limited number of these available because I am only one human and can only accommodate so many families! LoL Also, a portion of them are booked out prior to Black Friday to the families that transfer from the following year.
- All Package sales are non-refundable and non-transferable
- The Mini dates are all preset and shown in the description. Those are the only dates for our Family Package Minis.
- Your Family Package sessions are for your family only. I do not allow transferring to another family, or extended family.
- Babies should be at least 6 months old. That being said, I have families that have done these for years consecutively, because once you are in the Mini Package it will be offered to you before the Black Friday release, and sometimes they do have babies on the way, and those babies we do not need to worry about the age limit. They have essentially been grandfathered into the package. LoL
- After your Package purchase on Black Friday at each session $100 is due.

Let me explain how our Family Mini Session Packages work because if you haven't done them before it might seem kind of confusing, but it actually simplifies everything
Our 2026 Family Mini Session package is $225 to purchase on Black Friday. I only offer these on Black Friday, and only a limited number of them.
They are offered first to my families that have done them the previous year. They can purchase before Black Friday, then, the remaining spots open up at midnight on Black Friday!
What your {Package} includes:
~ Guaranteed spots for our Spring, Fall, & Christmas Minis for the dates and locations listed
~ You don't have to worry about missing out on booking because 1 month prior to each mini session I contact you via text to book your timeslot.
~ When booking your time, there is no retainer is needed. We just book it!
~ At each session your balance of ONLY $100 will be due. This is a very good deal as our holiday sessions normally run at $275....with this special you are saving about $100 per mini session.
~ For each mini session you will receive at least 10 edited images in an online gallery (and let's face it.....it's never only 10 LoL) I also do a version of black and white for each image. We do combinations of family, siblings, individuals....I'm pretty speedy and get everything we need and more within our mini timeframe.
Our Family Mini Session Package days of sessions are always my favorite mini session days because if we don't already know you, we get to know you, and we learn what your kiddos like and dislike pretty easy.

A classic, and a favorite of mine! In this house the marathon of this movie is always going on at least one tv in the house on Christmas every year.
I will have a set that I designed inspired by the house in the movie, along with props and some add in accessories. I also have the Ralphie bunny outfits, adult and child.

Winter Friends Kids Experience

We have been doing our Winter Friends (Frozen) Sessions every year since the first Frozen movie premiered! 2013.....that's crazy!
Keeping with tradition, we will be doing these Experiences right after Christmas so that if you are giving this as a Christmas gift, they will have a fun Experience to look forward to, that they don't have to wait too long for!
It seems like almost every little princess knows and loves Frozen and it is an amazing thing to watch them get all dressed up as their favorite character and then get to watch them do a FUN photoshoot! It makes all the difference in their personality and how it shows through in the images when they are having fun and excited about what they are doing.
